Dr. Maheeb Jaouni received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). After graduating with honors, Dr. Jaouni attended the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery (UMB), the first dental school in the world, where he completed a three-year Endodontic Post Graduate program. During his residency, Dr. Jaouni was recognized for clinical and research excellence, earning numerous awards, including the Ponti Award for Clinical Excellence and the Sherryl Anne Award for Endodontic Research. He focused on evaluating the efficacy of systemic antibiotics on localized endodontic infections and successfully defended his thesis, earning both his certification in endodontics and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Oral Biology.

With over 15 years of experience and more than 10,000 root canal treatments to his name, Dr. Jaouni’s expertise extends beyond private practice. He has earned Diplomate status from the American Board of Endodontics and holds membership in Phi Kappa Phi, an honorary postgraduate fraternity. He remains actively involved in numerous professional associations, staying current with the latest advances in endodontics, including pharmacology, 3D CT imaging, laser and gentle wave canal disinfection and endodontic microsurgery.

Dr. Jaouni has been consistently recognized by his peers, being voted “Best in His Field” by D Magazine for 12 consecutive years and “Best Endodontist” by Living Magazine for 11 years running. In addition to his clinical work, he is also an entrepreneur with a strong interest in wellness, particularly in exploring the link between oral health and overall body health.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Jaouni is an active scout leader for the Boy Scouts, in which his children participate. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, engaging in water sports, cycling, and exploring new electronic gadgets.
